COVID-19 cases increase by three on Sanibel

Lee County has 4,757 confirmed cases of COVID-19 - 4,642 Florida residents and 115 non-residents - including 17 cases between Sanibel and Captiva, according to the Florida Department of Health.

As of today's update, the DOH reported that there are 122,960 confirmed cases in Florida. There are 120,574 cases involving Florida residents and 2,386 cases of non-residents. The numbers include Florida residents who have been diagnosed and isolated outside of the state.

In Lee County, there have been 52,969 tests given, with 4,757 testing positive and 48,198 testing negative. In addition, 23 cases are awaiting testing and 14 tests were inconclusive.

Also, the DOH reported that there are 152 recorded deaths among Florida residents for Lee.

- Cape Coral: 839

- Captiva: 1

- Fort Myers: 2,093

- Fort Myers Beach: 26

- Lehigh Acres: 1,053

- Matlacha: 4

- Miromar Lakes: 2

- Missing: 37*

- North Fort Myers: 139

- Saint James City: 1

- San Carlos Park: 1

- Sanibel: 16

- Tice: 3

*DOH officials reported that the city name was not entered when the test results were.
