Three Cantors and a Pastor Concert set

The Bat Yam Temple of the Islands will host a free musical program on March 1 beginning at 4 p.m., which will include liturgical music, light classics, pop songs, Broadway songs and sing-a-longs.

It will be held at the Sanibel Congregational United Church of Christ, 2050 Periwinkle Way, Sanibel.

The performers will be led by Bat Yam's Cantor Murray Simon, who will be joined by Pastor John Danner of SCUCC and Cantor Elizabeth Shammash of Tiferet Bet Israel in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania. Also performing will be Cantor Rachel Brook of Park Avenue Synagogue in New York, New York.

The three cantors and a pastor who will perform solos, duets and ensembles will be accompanied by two pianists, Abbey Allison and Toby Simon, as well as other musicians to enhance the program.

Similar to last year, a reception will follow the concert, giving concert-goers an opportunity to mingle and socialize with each other and the performers.?A love offering will be accepted during the event.
