In a rapidly growing area of client concern, a Special Needs Trust is a specialized irrevocable trust that allows a disabled beneficiary to enjoy the use of property that is held in the trust for their benefit, while at the same time allowing that beneficiary to receive essential needs-based government benefits.

In order to properly address the concerns of special needs beneficiaries, it requires an understanding of planning and taxation issues, guardianship, and knowledge of the rules for Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid benefits.

Greenstein is a J.D. and a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor and he also maintains a Certificate in Behavioral Finance.
