Coffee, Tea and Trivia

Coffee, Tea and Trivia at 7 p.m. in the Carpenter's Caf & Bookstore at the Sanibel Community Church, at 1740 Periwinkle Way, Sanibel. Family-friendly fun for all ages. Caf opens at 6:30 p.m.; all cafe proceeds go to missions. For information, call Beth Burns at 239-896-0058.

FRIDAY, OCT. 4

ThinkTank

The ThinkTank will be offered from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the east end of the Sanibel Public Library, at 770 Dunlop Road, Sanibel. Come play on the interactive floor as the MagixBox projects from the ceiling to the floor. Squish mosquitoes, splat eggs or make a trail of stars in some of the ever-changing activities. SATURDAY, OCT. 5

Bagging for Mammograms

Pink Out Sanibel & Captiva volunteers will bag groceries for tips from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Bailey's General Store, at 2477 Periwinkle Way, Sanibel. The proceeds will benefit uninsured individuals in need of mammograms and F.I.S.H. of Sanibel-Captiva to help with the community's cancer-related needs. The annual Pink Out Picnic Lunch will take place on Oct. 24 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Sanibel Fire Station 171, at 2351 Palm Ridge Road, Sanibel. Friendly Faces Luncheon

In partnership with George & Wendy's Seafood Grille, F.I.S.H. of Sanibel-Captiva will host its monthly Friendly Faces Luncheon at 11:30 a.m. at the restaurant, at 2499 Periwinkle Way, Sanibel. Open to the public, it is an opportunity to meet new friends and reconnect with old ones. For $8 per person, the price fixed lunch includes an entre, side, non-alcoholic drink and dessert; cash is the preferred method of payment. For information, contact Kathy Y.
